I took my wedding gown to her for alterations. It was too big and I was worried the top wouldn’t fit correctly – I don’t know why I worried at all with her altering my dress, I swear she makes miracles happen! My dress fit me so well when she was done with it! VanLear is where I will be sending all my friends who are looking for alterations or a custom dress!

Lora is amazing! She took my mom’s wedding dress and changed it into something even more beautiful for me to wear at my wedding rehearsal held at the Dayton Art Institute. I will not take a formal dress anywhere else for alterations. Lora listens to what you want, and how you want your dress to fit. At other places (including David’s Bridal), you are treated like you are stupid, and THEY will tell YOU how YOUR dress should fit, even if it emphasizes every insecurity you have… garbage.
