Lora is amazing! I could not have imagined a more beautiful dress if I tried. She brought my dream dress to life! She was very easy to work with and made everything so easy for me. From the first moment I walked into her shop to design the dress, to the last fitting and finally taking the dress home, Lora was incredible. I wanted to add on lace sleeves to my dress about three months before the wedding and she made that happen without hesitation. I could not say enough great things about her. Designing a dress with Lora was one of the best decisions I made about the wedding!!!

I took my wedding gown to her for alterations. It was too big and I was worried the top wouldn’t fit correctly – I don’t know why I worried at all with her altering my dress, I swear she makes miracles happen! My dress fit me so well when she was done with it! VanLear is where I will be sending all my friends who are looking for alterations or a custom dress!

I will not take a formal dress anywhere else for alterations. Lora listens to what you want, and how you want your dress to fit. At other places (including David’s Bridal), you are treated like you are stupid, and THEY will tell YOU how YOUR dress should fit, even if it emphasizes every insecurity you have… garbage. Go to Van Lear. She listens, she cares, and she’s fun to work with.

Lora did a wonderful job. I brought her my dress after another seamstress accidentally made my dress WAY too small and Lora worked her magic. The dress fit like a dream. Thanks again, Lora!
