I would come to her for any special occasion dress, not just a wedding dress. She also does a wonderful job of altering clothes to fit her customers. I highly, highly recommend.

This was the second place I went to after walking out of a different shop when I didn’t feel comfortable. Here I was greeted by friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. My wedding dress is very intricate due to complex lace, yet all the alterations needed are nearly invisible! I also received a generous military discount that was so appreciated, as the overall cost was expensive, almost $400. Yet I am so glad I went here and nowhere else. What’s the point in having a beautiful dress if you don’t pay for it to fit you? Thanks again ladies!

Lora is amazing! She took my mom’s wedding dress and changed it into something even more beautiful for me to wear at my wedding rehearsal held at the Dayton Art Institute. Being able to wear my mom’s wedding dress that day is a memory that I will always cherish. Lora is easy to work with and does GREAT work. Thanks again!

I will not take a formal dress anywhere else for alterations. Lora listens to what you want, and how you want your dress to fit. At other places (including David’s Bridal), you are treated like you are stupid, and THEY will tell YOU how YOUR dress should fit, even if it emphasizes every insecurity you have… garbage. Go to Van Lear. She listens, she cares, and she’s fun to work with.
