I am so glad I went here and nowhere else

This was the second place I went to after walking out of a different shop when I didn’t feel comfortable. Here I was greeted by friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. My wedding dress is very intricate due to complex lace, yet all the alterations needed are nearly invisible! I also received a generous military discount that was so appreciated, as the overall cost was expensive, almost $400. Yet I am so glad I went here and nowhere else. What’s the point in having a beautiful dress if you don’t pay for it to fit you? Thanks again ladies!

I came in with a picture of a dress that had the style I wanted, but I wanted the colors changed, I literally had no idea how the custom dress process worked. Lora took my idea and vague directions and made the most amazing dress I could ever have imagined. She was so much fun to work with and I was actually a little sad the day I picked up my dress because I wouldn’t be seeing her anymore. Everyone was completely blown away by my dress, it fit me perfectly and was completely jaw dropping. If you need a dress for any occasion, go see her!

I brought in a dress that was given to me from a friend who was married in the 80's. I wanted it redone in a style that suited me and once she sketched out my ideas I could hardly contain my excitement. I felt like a princess on my special day and I got SO many compliments on my dress. She really does amazing work!!! Worth every penny!!!

I will not take a formal dress anywhere else for alterations. Lora listens to what you want, and how you want your dress to fit. At other places (including David’s Bridal), you are treated like you are stupid, and THEY will tell YOU how YOUR dress should fit, even if it emphasizes every insecurity you have… garbage. Go to Van Lear. She listens, she cares, and she’s fun to work with.
