You are convinced you will never find the dress or gown that you envision for your event, your wedding, or perhaps your own birthday bash. You have combed the internet and local stores. Nothing. You can describe it, you can see it in your mind. Having it custom made for you is the only answer. This is Linda’s story. Linda is a fabulous professional who knows what she wants. The event was her birthday party. It was to be an elaborate, elegant event!

Linda came to me about a month before her birthday party, in the hopes that I could rescue the dress someone else had made for her. It didn’t fit, and frankly, I didn’t think it was nearly elegant enough. She described her vision, and I got to work. I sketched her fabulous idea. She brought her beautiful necklace that was her inspiration and color she wished for her dress. I happened to have the exact shade of blue velvet to match her sapphire necklace. Not only that, I had it in stock! She was able to feel the texture and see how it complemented the necklace. I was able to get started immediately.

We had a couple of fittings, each one was fun because of her dynamic personality, and within 3 weeks Linda had her blue velvet birthday dress. I don’t always have the exact color or fabric in stock, but I can usually create dream dresses on short notice. So, don’t despair if you can’t find the dream dress! Don’t settle!
