She found THE dress! It was perfect! Except….

This dress had everything she wanted, except sleeves! She talked to three other alteration seamstresses and got a firm NO on her plan to add sleeves. This tenacious bride stuck to her guns and found me. She emailed photos of the dress and her hopes to add sleeves. I gave her a firm YES! Of course!

First I had to extend the width of the shoulders with net. After making sure that the width was correct, then lace was appliqued on to the net. Then I made lace sleeves (with lace she ordered with her dress). I attached the sleeves and fulfilled her wish.

I can pretty much change anything to make an almost perfect dress into THE PERFECT DRESS! Even if you don’t have extra fabric or lace, I’ll find similar or matching lace and fabric.
